This is my second project for Crinniu na nOg, a nationwide festival of arts for Children in Ireland.This year I decided to do a story-writing workshop. What better place to do it than my local library. I took the Hero's Journey to use as a 12 step story writing structure, telling the kids to grab books from the shelves to inspire us for each step. By the end of it, the kids were shouting out ideas with books scattered all around us, it was great! I printed it out there and then, stapled it together, adding most importantly the authors names on the front. The kids were delighted to being it home with them. All done in 2 hours!
